Crew & Concierge are looking for a Deckhand to join a barge operating out of the Port of Aberdeen on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent. Working as part of a small, close-knit crew alongside the Captain and Engineer, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the vessel. This is a hands-on position where teamwork and a proactive approach are essential.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the vessel's deck operations, assisting with the safe transfer, mooring and unmooring, operating and maintaining deck equipment, and ensuring the vessel is kept to a high standard at all times. You will also carry out routine inspections, assist with basic maintenance, participate in emergency response drills, and ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures, industry regulations and health and safety standards.
The role operates primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on operational requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable operation with the potential for long-term employment.

Rate: £150 - £200 Per Day
