AB/Crane Operator — MPSV, North Sea

A temporary dual-role AB/Crane Operator position is open aboard a UK-flagged multipurpose support vessel (MPSV) operating in the North Sea. This is a short-term contract lasting roughly two weeks, running until 07 October 2026, with wages paid on a paid-on/paid-off basis. The successful candidate will combine standard AB deck duties with offshore crane operations as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Offshore Crane Operator on multipurpose or similar vessel types
• Valid offshore crane operator certificate (CRO) meeting industry standard — G5 or Sparrows 3
• AB II/5 certificate
• Relevant STCW and offshore safety certifications
• Solid understanding of lifting plans, rigging practices and lifting equipment usage
• Strong safety awareness and clear English communication skills
• Physically fit for offshore duties and capable of working within a rotational schedule
• Willingness to join immediately (ASAP) for a contract running until 07.10.2026
