Chief Engineer — Bulk Carrier

A Greek shipowner is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a modern bulk carrier built in 2020, gearing up for a worldwide trading contract. The vessel boasts 43,454 GRT and is fitted with a MAN-B&W 6G60ME-C10 main engine producing 13,138 HP. Joining is scheduled for 15 August in China, on a contract of 5 months plus or minus one, with a monthly salary of USD 10,000.

Requirements

• At least 24 months of prior seagoing experience in the rank of Chief Engineer
• Previous experience as Chief Engineer specifically on bulk carriers
• Proven track record on geared vessels, including crane operations knowledge
• Valid STCW certificates with corresponding Flag State endorsements
• Good command of the English language
• Valid PEME issued by a P&I American Club approved medical center (mandatory)
