ETO / Electrician — Survey/Research Vessel

An offshore crewing agency is looking for an ETO or a confident Electrician rating to join a DP1 research and survey vessel operating around the Faroe Islands. No prior offshore background is required, and the assignment runs for roughly 10-12 weeks starting in early September 2026.

Vessel particulars

• Ship type: Survey / Research vessel, DP1 classed
• Length: 76 metres
• Rebuilt in 2015 with upgraded accommodation, fuel-efficient operation and low acoustic signature
• Sailing area: Faroe Islands

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an Electrician is required
• Offshore sector experience is not necessary
• Must be capable of working independently, as the successful candidate will be the sole electrician on board
• Open to both officers and ratings, provided they can operate confidently without supervision
