Cargo Officer — Heavy Lift Vessel

A Cargo Officer position is available aboard a general cargo/multipurpose vessel equipped with heavy lifting capabilities. The vessel operates internationally and offers a competitive monthly salary with performance bonuses. This is a 4-month contract with joining anticipated in July 2026.

Requirements

• Valid Certification as Cargo Officer or equivalent heavy-lift/crane operations certificate
• Experience with general cargo and heavy-lift operations
• Certification in heavy-lift and internal-crew procedures
• Knowledge of cargo-handling, ballast operations and laddering procedures
• No previous accidents or incidents as cargo officer/crew member
• Employer-approved health and fitness records (HMS+ and additional documentation as required)
• English language competency for maritime operations
• Work permit or visa as applicable
