Master — Self-Discharging Dry-Cargo Vessel

We are looking for an experienced Master to take command of a self-discharging dry-cargo vessel (5300 DWT / 3492 GT) trading mainly around Europe under NIS flag. This is an on-board only salary position with a 2 months on / 2 months off rotation, ideal for a candidate holding a valid Norwegian PEC.

Requirements

• Proven track record as Master aboard general cargo or similar self-discharging dry-cargo vessels
• Valid STCW II/2 Chief Mate Certificate (3000 GT and above)
• Norwegian PEC covering at least Bergen to the Swedish border (minor gaps may be considered case by case)
• Full set of valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificates (all four)
• Advanced training courses: Advanced Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid, Survival Craft, etc.
• GMDSS, ECDIS, BRM, Security Duties and Security Awareness certification
• Valid medical certificate (Norwegian standard or MLC 2006 form)
• Good command of English for daily communication
