Never pay to get a job at sea
Legitimate crewing agencies never ask seafarers for money. Do not pay anyone for a contract, a place on board, a medical, certificates, visas or “processing”. If you are asked to pay to be hired — it is a scam. Stop all contact and let us know. SeaJobs itself takes money only for its subscription — applying through the portal, agencies' contacts and CV files — never for a job, a contract or a place on board.
