TOS — Transport & Offshore Services — is a maritime and energy staffing company based in Rotterdam and working since 1992. It places seafarers and offshore personnel on vessels and projects for its clients: offshore energy, wind farms, dredging, marine construction and shipping.
TOS in Poland and Ukraine
TOS has a Polish company, Transport & Offshore Services Poland Sp. z o.o., registered in Gdynia. Crewing directories also list a TOS office in Odesa. This is why searches such as "TOS Poland" and "TOS oferty pracy" are common among Polish and Ukrainian seafarers.
Who TOS looks for
The company's open roles cover Masters, officers, engineers, ABs, and project specialists such as riggers, welders, crane operators and foremen. Offshore work usually means rotations and day rates, and project roles may be shorter than a classic merchant contract.
What offshore employers usually require
- Offshore safety training — typically BOSIET (with CA-EBS) or an equivalent.
- For DP vessels, DP certificates and logged DP hours.
- A valid STCW set, a seafarer medical and, for some projects, an offshore medical.
- Good English and a CV that shows the offshore experience clearly.
