Chief Engineer — AHTS DP2

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for a modern AHTS DP2 vessel operating in the Qatar LNG region. This is an 8-week rotation contract with competitive daily compensation negotiable at interview.

• Anchor Handling Tug Support (AHTS) DP2
• DWT: 2,015 tonnes
• Main engine power: 4,786 BHP
• Year built: 2022
• Trading area: QE LNG, Qatar

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as Chief Engineer on AHTS DP2 vessels
• Proven prior employment in Qatar or UAE regions (mandatory)
• Valid sea service documentation with stamped pages
• Current ILO medical certificate
• Joining date: 5 October 2026
• Note: Only candidates with direct AHTS DP2 experience will be considered
