Chief Engineer — AHTS Opal

An urgent opening has come up for a Chief Engineer to join the AHTS vessel Opal, working worldwide on a roughly 60-day contract (plus or minus 20 days). The offered salary is 8500 EUR per month, with immediate joining required.

Requirements

• At least 6–12 months of prior sea service in the rank of Chief Engineer
• Previous experience on AHTS, tugs or other offshore support vessels
• Solid working knowledge of CAT 3516 main engines
• Hands-on experience with planned maintenance systems (PMS) and maintenance scheduling
• Understanding of electrical and automation systems onboard
• Good spoken and written English for effective communication
• Preferred (not mandatory) additional certificates: Offshore Wind Experience, CAT Factory Training, Marine Electrical Systems Course, High Voltage Awareness
