Job Description

An offshore vessel operator is seeking an experienced Day Chief Cook to join their team on a stable 5-week on/5-week off rotation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional offshore catering environment with responsibility for meal preparation and crew coordination. The role requires proven expertise in both Dutch and European cuisine combined with strong leadership capabilities in a offshore setting.

Requirements

  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience as Chief Cook on offshore vessels or in comparable offshore catering operations
  • Proficient knowledge of Dutch and European culinary techniques and recipes
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate catering team members
  • Very good spoken and written English proficiency
  • Professional, motivated, and friendly demeanor
  • Valid UK Frontier Worker Permit (FWP)
  • HUET certification with CA-EBS component
  • GWO Working at Heights (WOH) certificate
  • Chester Step Test certification
  • Valid and current STCW documentation
