Job Description

An opportunity has opened up for a Trainee Electronic Engineer to join a fleet of offshore construction vessels operating worldwide for one of our clients. These are large-tonnage units engaged in heavy-lift, crane and pipelay operations, offering long-term employment on a rolling 12-month contract with 56/28 or 90/30 rotation schedules. Salary details will be discussed directly with the office, and the start date is flexible depending on candidate availability.

  • Sailing area: Worldwide

Requirements

  • Prior offshore experience in a similar role (ETO/Electrician)
  • Very good command of English
  • Duties include monitoring and controlling onboard electrical/electronic equipment per safety procedures
  • Responsible for planning maintenance priorities and proposing maintenance schedules
  • Must recommend required stock levels of materials to ensure work continuity
  • Ensures all work activities comply with safety procedures and practices
  • Ensures ongoing efficiency of electrical/electronic equipment onboard
