Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Master to take command of a self-discharging dry-cargo vessel (5300 DWT / 3492 GT) trading mainly around Europe under NIS flag. This is an on-board only salary position with a 2 months on / 2 months off rotation, ideal for a candidate holding a valid Norwegian PEC.

Requirements

Proven track record as Master aboard general cargo or similar self-discharging dry-cargo vessels
Valid STCW II/2 Chief Mate Certificate (3000 GT and above)
Norwegian PEC covering at least Bergen to the Swedish border (minor gaps may be considered case by case)
Full set of valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificates (all four)
Advanced training courses: Advanced Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid, Survival Craft, etc.
GMDSS, ECDIS, BRM, Security Duties and Security Awareness certification
Valid medical certificate (Norwegian standard or MLC 2006 form)
Good command of English for daily communication
