Officer of the Watch (OOW) — Jack-Up Unit

An offshore crewing company is recruiting OOW-certified officers for a short-term mobilisation project on a Jack-Up Unit in China. The role focuses on bridge watchkeeping, navigation operations and oversight of safe offshore activities using modern maritime systems and equipment.

Requirements

• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) and all relevant STCW certificates for OOW/2nd Officer rank
• Valid Cyprus Endorsement (including GMDSS Endorsement where applicable)
• Valid BOSIET or FOET certification (OPITO approved)
• Current OEUK Offshore Medical certification
• Demonstrable experience with Radar, ECDIS and vessel navigation systems
• European nationality only due to visa requirements for the China location
• Previous Jack-Up Unit experience preferred but not mandatory
