2nd Engineer — Chemical/Oil Tanker

We are seeking a qualified 2nd Engineer for a Chemical/Oil Tanker operating worldwide. This is a 4-month contract position with a monthly salary of EUR 10,400 plus a 5% rejoining bonus. The vessel features modern cargo handling systems and operates on international routes.

Vessel particulars

• Type: Chemical/Oil Tanker
• Cargo oil tanks: 6 wing tanks (K2) + 2 slop tanks + residual tank (7 segregations total)
• Cargo pumps: 12 centrifugal pumps (500 m³/HR capacity) and 2 centrifugal pumps (200 m³/HR capacity)
• Main engine: Hyundai-Man B&W 6S50ME-C9.7-HPSCR, 10,594 BHP
• Sailing area: Worldwide

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in the 2nd Engineer rank
• Advanced knowledge of oil and chemical tanker operations (ADV OIL ADV CHEM ERM)
