Job Description
Requirements
- Valid Chief Engineer CoC (STCW III/2) and relevant STCW certificates
- Minimum 6 months of sea service in the rank of Chief Engineer
- Minimum 3 years of cumulative sea service on bulk carriers
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Strong technical knowledge of marine diesel engines, auxiliary machinery and shipboard engineering systems
- Proven experience in engine room management, Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) and troubleshooting
- Sound knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM and international maritime regulations
- Strong leadership, technical decision-making and personnel management skills
- Commitment to safety, environmental protection and operational excellence
