Chief Engineer — AHTS DP2 Support Vessel

We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a DP2 AHTS support vessel. The ship, named Onyx, flies the Malta flag, was built in 2015 and is fitted with Caterpillar main engines. Monthly salary is offered in the range of EUR 9,000–10,000.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months prior sea service in the rank of Chief Engineer, with experience on the same vessel/engine type required
• Preference given to candidates with DP vessel experience
• Strong working knowledge of CAT 3516 engines
• Proven background in maintenance planning and repair management
• Experience drafting repair specifications and dry-docking scopes
• Understanding of electrical, automation and power management systems
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Willingness to take part in DP trials and FMEA sessions
• Kongsberg DP Familiarization / Maintenance course preferred
• Additional certificates preferred: Engine Room Resource Management, CAT Engine Training, High Voltage Awareness
